RECEPTIONIST

The Motorcycle Safety Academy is looking for a part-time Receptionist (day, evening and weekend hours) to join the team. This position is a FlexJob and remote work from home will be allowed. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

The Receptionist is primarily responsible for providing business information and outstanding customer service to current and perspective students interested in learning about motorcycle safety training. Some of the responsibilities include: answer, screen and transfer phone calls, respond to texts / web chats / emails, register students for courses, maintain and coordinate schedules / appointments / calendars, update social media pages, conduct Internet research, enter data into reports, create email and postal mail campaigns, and other administrative duties. The person will also work closely with our Office Manager, Program Coordinators, Professional Instructors, Training Sponsors and other Administrative Staff. For this position, we prefer individuals that have some office administration experience, but it is not required.

Our company's reputation is based on providing quality motorcycle safety training to beginner and advanced riders. We strive to make sure every student develops a strong foundation when learning how to ride safely. Our courses are effective, professional and fun.

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner

  • Outstanding time management and organization skills

  • Experience in conducting Internet research and familiarity with computer technology that includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and social media

  • Ability to register students into courses using the company's website

  • Ability to answer questions and resolve training related issues for current and prospective students

  • Ability to speak with a calm tone and possess active listening skills and problem solving skills

  • Ability to answer and transfer phone calls and respond with texts, web chats and email

  • Ability to learn the state's requirements / laws for motorcycle licensing
