DO I GET A MOTORCYCLE LICENSE WHEN THE COURSE IS FINISHED?

There is no guarantee that an individual enrolling in this course will pass, or get their license.

Maryland: If you successfully meet all the requirements and pass the BRC or BRC2 course, your passing information will be submitted to the Maryland MVA. You will not need to take any additional “motorcycle related” testing at the MVA.

Out-of-state participants should check with the department of motor vehicles in their home state to find out if they will issue a motorcycle license for a course completed in Maryland.

Pennsylvania: If you successfully pass and meet all the requirements in the BRC or BRC2 course, a participant will get their learner’s permit stamped by a Pennsylvania certified instructor, which will become a temporary license. The passing paperwork will be processed with PennDOT and a new license will be mailed to the participant.
