Prior to riding, a student will be required to complete the MSF online E-Course.  This online portion of the course takes three (3) hours to complete.

During the ten (10) hours of riding the student will become familiar with the motorcycle and will start off learning the friction zone, straight-line riding, clutch-throttle control, turning, shifting and stopping.  The student will gradually progress to cornering, swerving and emergency braking with additional training on cornering judgment, swerving and stopping quickly.  Throughout the course the instructors will evaluate and coach each rider’s performance.  The course concludes with a skill evaluation, knowledge test, course evaluation and overall course wrap-up.  Motorcycles and helmets for use in the course fee.  Motorcycles used in the course are owned by the Motorcycle Safety Academy and typically have engine displacements of 250cc.
