Maryland: For the BRC Course (including any variations like the BRCSP), there are no prerequisites, and a learner’s permit is not required. However, the ability to ride a bicycle is recommended.
Pennsylvania: For the BRC Course (including variations such as the BRCSP), there are no prerequisites. However, residents of Pennsylvania must have a valid motorcycle learner’s permit or motorcycle license. Again, we recommend that participants be capable of riding a bicycle.
