Probationary Motorcycle Safety Instructor

The Motorcycle Safety Academy (MSA) is accepting applications for part-time Probationary Motorcycle Safety Instructors (day, evening and weekend positions) to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged and reliable. Instructors are appointed on a course-by-course basis as needed. It is our goal to maintain a pool of subject-matter-experts with at least 10 years of industry experience. For this position we are looking for individuals that are interested in teaching adult learners. Our reputation is based on the quality of instruction we provide to our students and the ability to not only know the information, but to deliver it effectively and professionally. Instructors should be prepared to deliver content using a variety of methods to meet the needs of learners. Lecture should be complimented with other methods of instruction. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis. Duties • Assist in registering stand-by and walk-in students for courses; • Welcome new and returning students to the course; • Provide learner-centered training to beginner and advanced riders by using a variety of methods to meet the needs of the student; • Assist in responding to student questions and complaints; • Provide focused and pointed feedback to students; • Prepare and document all student training, including preparing all the necessary training forms such as accident / incident reports, student withdraw forms and course completion reports; and • Coordinate and work closely with the Training Center Site Administrator. We prefer individuals who have experience teaching adult learners. Our reputation is based on the quality of instruction we provide to our students and the ability to not only know the information, but to deliver it effectively and professionally. Instructors should be prepared to deliver content using a variety of methods to meet the needs of learners. Lecture should be complimented with other methods of instruction.
