This course is designed for someone that needs some additional practice in riding after completing a BRC or ABRC course. This course is also designed for someone that needs a “tune-up” or refresher of their basic riding skills.  Approximately one and a half (1.5) hours of riding includes improving clutch-throttle control, starting, stopping, turning, shifting and swerving. Motorcycles are available for use and are included in the course fee.  Motorcycles used in the course are owned by the Motorcycle Safety Academy and typically have engine displacements of 250cc. Riders must have the appropriate riding gear, which includes a DOT certified open (three-quarter) or full face helmet, eye protection, long sleeve shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, long pants (no sweat pants or soft material) and sturdy over-the-ankle footwear. If you need to purchase a helmet, jacket, gloves or any other riding gear, please call the office immediately. We have close relationships with dealers and can get a variety of riding gear at WHOLESALE PRICES. Some of the manufacturers include Shoei, HJC, Joe Rocket, Alpine Stars, Tourmaster, Cortech and many more. We are happy to get your DISCOUNTED gear sent directly to the training center prior to the start of the course. However, if you are in a time crunch, we do have a very limited selection available at the training center for purchase. There is no guarantee that an individual enrolling in this course will pass. Course Dates and Times: September 5: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
