TRAINING SITE ADMINISTRATOR

The Motorcycle Safety Academy is accepting applications for a part-time Training Site Administrator (day, evening and weekend hours) at our Youngwood, PA location. This position is a FlexJob and some remote work from home will be allowed.

The Training Site Administrator (TSA) will work closely with current and perspective students interested in learning about motorcycle safety training. The TSA will be responsible for various duties including answering phones, scheduling, helping students register for courses, checking in students prior to class, preparing periodic reports and other administrative duties. The TSA will also work closely with our Program Coordinator, professional instructors, training sponsors and other administrative staff. For this position, we prefer individuals that have some office administration experience, but it is not required.

Our company's reputation is based on providing quality motorcycle safety training to beginner and advanced riders. We strive to make sure every student develops a strong foundation when learning how to ride safely. Our courses are effective, professional and fun.

Features & Responsibilities

Each candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications and expectations for the position:

  • Ability to help current and prospective students register for courses, answer questions and resolve training related issues on the phone, email and in-person; 

  • Ability to schedule couses;

  • Coordinate student scheduling, instructor scheduling and other administrative duties with administrative staff; 

  • Provide current and prospective students and vendors the best customer service possible;

  • Ability to speak and possess active listening skills and problem solving skills;

  • Knowledge and experience with onsite classroom and range site management, which includes ordering training related materials and office supplies;

  • Coordinate site related issues with the PennDOT Program Coordinator, professional instructors and training sponsors;

  • Ability to know and understand the process to prepare and document all student training, which includes preparing all the necessary training forms and course completion reports;

  • Have a general knowledge of the state jurisdiction's training specific requirements/laws; and

  • Attend professional training to update and refine skills relating to office administration.
