To provide a solid foundation in learning how to ride a 2-wheel motorcycle. During the course a student will learn about the “SEE” principle which will be helpful when identifying traffic controls / roadway features, highway users, surface conditions and escape paths. During the ten (10) hours of riding the student will focus on more beginner riding techniques including motorcycle familiarization, friction zone, straight-line riding, clutch-throttle control, turning, shifting and stopping. Student will also learn cornering, swerving and emergency braking, swerving and stopping quickly, and cornering judgment. Throughout the course the instructors will evaluate and coach each rider’s performance.
Provides the most information about safety and road skills and includes 3 hours online course, 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of riding.
